How to Install CivicConnects on Your Phone

How to Install CivicConnects on Your Phone

Step 1:
Launch the Installer

Access community resources with one tap—add our web app to your home screen.

Action:

  1. Open app.civicconnects.com in your mobile browser

  2. Tap “Sign in” (or skip to proceed)

  3. Look for the “Add to Home Screen” prompt (iOS/Android)

Tip: For faster access, sign in with Google to save your preferences.

Step 2:
Add page to

Action:

  1. Tap the ⋮ (menu) icon in your browser

  2. Select “Add page to” → “Home screen”

  3. Confirm the shortcut name (Example: “Denton Food Finder”)

Note: On iOS, use the Share icon → *“Add to Home Screen.”

Step 3:
Install as Web App

Action:

  1. In the pop-up menu, choose “Install as web app”

  2. Allow permissions if prompted

  3. Launch from your home screen like a native app
