We are Civic Connects

We’ve been there. Not long ago, we were a family in need of assistance—struggling to find help with food, utilities, and rent. The search was fragmented and frustrating. We spent countless hours navigating multiple websites like 211.org and others, each with different pieces of information.

We realized that while these resources existed, they were scattered. The information we needed was across multiple sources, and no single location had a complete picture. We asked ourselves a simple question: “How can we put all this information in one place, right in the palm of your hand?”

That’s the moment Civic Connects was born.

We created this platform because we understand the challenges firsthand. We know what it’s like to feel lost in the system and wish for a simpler solution. Our mission is to eliminate those barriers. We believe everyone deserves access to essential services—without complexity or stigma. Civic Connects connects you with the local resources you need, when you need them most, because we built it to solve a problem we faced ourselves.

We’re a technology-driven nonprofit building bridges between communities and critical services. Through our free mobile app, we empower individuals to quickly find:
